What I can do with a paper bag on my head
You Decide - Sunbathe in Spain or Safari in South Africa
There are many holidays I have enjoyed from soaking up the sun in Spain, walking the mountains in Wales or braving the roller coasters in America.
I still have a few experiences I would love to try out. One of them is gambling in Las Vegas. One of my friends has just returned from there and so far I can't get her to stop talking about it as she enjoyed it so much. You really can gamble 24 hours a day. She said she lost quite a lot of money, but had set herself a daily limit, so didn’t really mind too much as she really enjoyed the whole thrill of the place.
I would really like to experience a safari holiday.
Safaris are meant to be absolutely fabulous. On a recent visit to Florida, I visited their Animal Kingdom Park and got a little taster of what a safari might be like. The problem with anything run by Disney is that everything is so controlled and even though there are lots of animals you never get that close. It must be such an experience to be on a real safari and be within a whiskers touch of a lion. I bet that must feel absolutely exhilarating.
Holidays to South Africa are certainly gaining in popularity and are a great holiday choice.
If the truth be told though, much as I would love to go on a safari holiday, the thing that really puts me off is all those horrible spiders. I really hate the things. They scare me rigid. I don’t know why, when you compare their size to mine. I think it’s the fact that they can move so fast on those big fat hairy legs. It's a shame really as my fear has unfortunately rubbed off on both the children and my husband has had to get up many a time during the night to get rid of spiders in the kids bedrooms.
A little word of warning though, whatever you do DO NOT vacuum up a spider into a paper hoover bag. My mother in law did this once and a little while later she couldn't understand why the hoover bag was moving around so much. The spider of course had had babies and so instead of one spider, there were hundreds of them. It was absolutely hilarious and an experience never repeated.
Now if a travel company could somehow guarantee me a safari minus spiders, I would be there tomorrow. If not, then it looks like somehow I am going to have to work at overcoming my fear. It’s strange a huge animal like a lion doesn’t worry me, just a tidily spider!!

Answer:
I know what you are going through, I am going through it myself. I will tell you what I have been doing, and it is working out nicely.
Firstly, you will need to vacuum daily and empty out the canister or throw out the bag daily.
Apply Frontline to all of your pets.
You need foggers and flea spray with growth inhibitor included in the ingredients. Foggers can be bought at Walmart and the like, the flea spray I use comes from my Vet.
Use the flea spray underneath all furniture areas, in drawers, etc. Allow the spray to dry before walking on it or vacuuming.
Use the foggers to 'bomb' your house. You will need to leave for several hours while you do this.
Wash bedding & rugs.
Continue to vacuum daily.
When the next month rolls around, apply the Frontline again to your pets. By this time the problem should be under control.
Mid month if you are not noticing a change, bomb and flea spray your house again.
I'm on about week 2 of my treatments, and am only seeing a tiny little baby flea maybe once every couple of days.
The biggest problem is Frontline only kills adult fleas. There are still the eggs and the baby fleas. This is where the products with the growth inhibitor become vital to getting rid of the population.
